有機熱載體鍋爐是以生物質為燃料，導熱油為熱載體，利用循環泵，強制導熱油進行液相循環，再將熱能輸送給用熱設備后，再返回加熱爐重新加熱的直流式特種鍋爐。
(1)能在較低的運行壓力下，獲得350℃以下的工作溫度，具有低壓高溫的技術特性；
(2)可實現穩定的加熱和精確的溫度調節，提高加熱產品質量；
(3)完善的運行控制和安全檢測裝置，操作方便，安全可靠；
(4)閉路循環，液相輸送熱能，熱損失小，節能效果顯著，環保效果好；
(5)配置水管余熱蒸汽鍋爐、蒸汽發生器，實現一爐二用，節能效果顯著。
各類排放指標均低于國家（GB13271-2001）《鍋爐大氣污染物排放標準》規定，是替代電、燃油、燃氣、燃煤蒸汽鍋爐的最佳產品。生物質鍋爐運行成本低，比燃油、燃氣、電加熱鍋爐可節省40%-60%，比燃煤節省5%-10%運行成本，是一種高效節能環保的熱能設備。
